September 9, 2007 - This is one of the Bronx snapdragons J. found growing in a crack in a wall last winter. She came home so excited to have found them growing in the winter, and wild, no less. I told her she must go back and collect the seeds; any flower that hardy had to come grow in our garden! She started the seeds with her preschool class last spring, and I transplanted a few of the seedlings. They have grown into lovely tall snapdragons who seem to enjoy this late summer weather. I look forward to seeing them bloom in the winter.
